A little over a week ago, Lauryn and I celebrated one month of marriage! Once again, I want to give a huge shout out to everyone who helped out at our wedding. It truly wouldn’t have been possible without your help in the days leading up to and following our wedding. It was awesome to see everyone come out for us, and we certainly wish we would have been able to spend more time with everyone. We appreciate all of the gifts and well-wishes everyone has sent our way. Our apartment certainly feels different with all of the new decorations, rugs, and appliances, so thank you all for that!
Things in Lubbock have been great. Lauryn and I have been playing in a DND 5 campaign with some friends here with me as a DM. This has been extremely fun and challenging, and hopefully helps foster a little creativity in me that I’ve not really had before. I may post little story snippets here as the party advances, so look out for those.
Other than that, we are doing quite well. Work is going well. I continue to learn new things and become more comfortable in my position, which is awesome. Lauryn is loving her job, and has just started participating in a kickboxing class! It never ceases to amaze me how she seeks out fun things to do and take part in.
I think this is about all of an update I have for now. We are both looking forward to the holidays. Sadly, we likely won’t be making any fancy trips anywhere, but it will be nice (for me at least) to have the time off to relax.
